About Us

Who We Are

As a fifteen-year old New York Metropolitan area general contractor, ERH Construction prides itself on one thing: Satisfied Customers.  With this concept at the core of our business, we have redesigned our thinking and our construction processes to better meet the needs of our customers.  We view our role as more than building a construction project – we are managing the entire construction experience as seen through the eyes of our customers.
In addition to the project owner, we also recognize that there may be a number of other constituents involved – an architect, a design consultant, a real estate broker, and others.  We pride ourselves on appreciating the role each plays and in working closely with them.  We have found this extremely important if we are to be assured of having a highly satisfied customer at the end of our engagement.

 How We Work

We begin each project by ensuring that we understand the customer’s expectations and any constraints they might be under – not just in terms of the finished product, but for the entire construction process. We do the same with the other parties involved in the project to be sure we are clear on their role and their expectations.
Dissatisfaction with a project is most often due to a lack of understanding and synchronization of expectations, as well as from surprises at the end of a project.  To mitigate these issues, we emphasize communications throughout the project with all parties involved.  Our expectation is 100% customer satisfaction and we close out projects with our clients with that objective in mind.  We are happy to provide references of customers who have experienced the ERH approach to completing their construction project.

About Our Work

Our projects range from small residential projects to larger commercial build-outs.  Although we do larger projects as well, we have been successful specializing in projects up to $1 million.  From kitchen and bathroom renovations to adding a fourth floor on a three story home, from a single office to multi-floor commercial build-outs, and from dealing with straightforward projects to the unique challenges of finishing out museums and recording studios, we understand how to adapt to the unique needs of each client.  Please ask us for a representative list of projects.

Recognized by Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce for our work on the MoCADA, an Arts and Culture Museum, we were awarded the “Building Brooklyn Award.”  This project contained a number of unique features designed to optimize the use of the space.
